Purpose of EMA

EMA is a clinical support tool intended to assist licensed or supervised mental health professionals with documentation, communication, and workflow organization.

EMA does not:

• Provide medical advice
• Make clinical decisions
• Replace professional judgment
• Supervise clinicians or trainees

Professional Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• Clinical decisions
• Documentation accuracy
• Compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
• Scope-of-practice determinations

EMA provides infrastructure—not direction.

Diagnostic Privileges

Some features (e.g., diagnosis fields) may be restricted based on user role or declared scope of practice. Users are responsible for enabling and using such features appropriately.

Availability & Changes

EMA is under active development. Features may change or be removed as part of stability, security, or compliance efforts.

No service-level guarantees are provided at this stage.

Data & Ownership

Users retain ownership of their data. EMA does not claim ownership of clinical content.

Limitation of Liability

EMA is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Recursive Systems Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the system.

Termination

Access may be suspended for security, compliance, or misuse concerns.
